In my experience, people get pretty excited knowing there will be an artist drawing live during an event they're attending. So if you've hired a graphic facilitator or recorder for your next meeting or conference, why not really leverage that by promoting it beforehand?

Check out this video for how I’ve done that recently.

Virtual meetings are their own animal, and getting people to attend has its own challenges. When the City of Coconut Creek brought me in to create a vision map live during their community meeting, attracting people to register was one of the things we talked about. They had the idea that telling people a graphic recorder would be drawing during the live event would help raise attendance.

I created this quick video for them to put on their website homepage, sharing my excitement for being invited to help bring their city's vision to life. Watching me draw was only one reason among many for citizens to attend, but it it helped Coconut Creek to round out their marketing effort and helped them have a successful engagement during the live event as well.

If you'd like to brainstorm ways to leverage graphic facilitation at your next event, let's talk!
